Cindy Beck's short
stories
have appeared in the nationally published anthologies Cup of
Comfort for Breast Cancer Survivors, Cup
of Comfort for
Horse Lovers and My Dad is My Hero. In addition, she has a story in Life is Like Riding a Unicycle, by
Shirley Bahlmann. She's co-authored and edited a book of LDS Humor (Latter-day Saint bloopers) that's scheduled for publication by Cedar Fort Incorporated in the fall of 2009.
Cindy's articles have been published in the Ensign magazine, and in the Sanpete Messenger newspaper. Her humor column, The Writing on the Wall, was awarded "Best Feature Column," by the Utah Press Association in 2008 for category one newspapers. Her fiction has also won several awards at the statewide 2007 League of Utah Writer's Conference, and an award at the 2009 LUW, Utah Valley Chapter Conference.
